Bank of Russia says digital ruble ready for widespread rollout in September

The governor of the Bank of Russia announced that everything is in place for the widespread use of the digital ruble, with a rollout planned for September. The central bank is also actively discussing the use of stablecoins for international settlements, but only as a complement to the digital ruble, not a replacement.
