Polish parliament passes windfall tax on fuel firms worth an estimated 4 billion złoty

Poland's Sejm approved Senate amendments to the windfall tax bill targeting fuel companies on Friday, including a cap on the maximum amount payable. The tax is expected to raise around 4 billion złoty, which will fund the CPN package. The bill now goes to the president for signature.
