Polish parliament passes "lex charlatan" law to ban dangerous pseudomedical services

On Friday 3 July, the Polish Sejm passed an amendment to the Patient Rights Act known as "lex charlatan". The new regulations aim to remove from the market and the internet dangerous pseudomedical services that are harmful to patients and inconsistent with current medical knowledge. The law is intended to protect Poles from unauthorised charlatans operating especially online.
