Polish Health Ministry proposes stricter criteria for NFZ rehabilitation referrals

Poland's Ministry of Health has published a draft regulation proposing stricter eligibility criteria for state-funded rehabilitation under the NFZ. The new rules would be modelled on international standards and, in most cases, would require an assessment of a patient's functional independence before they qualify for rehabilitation. The proposal is currently at the consultation stage.
