UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy announced she is leaving X, citing rampant abuse and misinformation on the platform. In what may be her final post, she wrote that X, originally designed for free speech, no longer serves that purpose. Her department, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, will also leave the platform.
