Ukrainian historian Hrycak: National Pantheon law is Zelensky's political calculation, not military need
Ukrainian historian Yaroslav Hrytsak told PAP that Ukraine's rapid passage of the National Pantheon law serves political rather than military purposes and reflects Zelensky's political calculations. He believes resolving the Polish-Ukrainian dispute over the UPA will require a change of government in Kyiv and could take years. Hrytsak also warned that threatening Ukraine with exclusion from the EU over the Bandera issue could backfire.
