Woman who punched Senator Thorpe outside MCG handed community work order
Ebony Bell has been handed a community work order by Melbourne magistrates court for punching independent Senator Lidia Thorpe outside the MCG in 2024, claiming the senator had disrespected her mother. Bell was initially ordered to complete an anger management course but committed a second act of violence while on bail, which the court took into account at sentencing.
