Cargo ship fire at Gdańsk port — 17 fire crews respond

A fire broke out late Thursday evening in the hold of a bulk carrier moored at the Szczecin Quay in the port of Gdańsk. The ship was transporting scrap metal. Seventeen fire crews responded, including two firefighting vessels. The blaze had not yet been brought under control at the time of reporting.
