Ukrainian historian: UPA dispute will only resolve after Kyiv power change
Ukrainian historian Jarosław Hrycak told PAP that the Polish-Ukrainian dispute over the UPA paramilitary organisation can only be resolved after a change of power in Kyiv. He warned that threatening Ukraine with exclusion from the EU over the Bandera issue could backfire and produce the opposite of the intended effect. Hrycak is a long-standing advocate of Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation.
