Venezuela earthquake death toll reaches 2,595 with 50,000 still missing
A double earthquake that struck Venezuela on 24 June has killed at least 2,595 people, injured 12,400 and left around 50,000 missing, according to acting president Delcy Rodriguez. NASA is monitoring the disaster from orbit. Rodriguez rejected accusations of a slow government response as search-and-rescue operations continue in the rubble.
