From 1 July thousands of Ukrainians must leave collective shelters — homelessness looms

From 1 July 2025, a new phase of Poland's aid wind-down is forcing several thousand Ukrainians who have lost "vulnerable group" status to leave collective accommodation centres. The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights has raised the alarm, warning that many face homelessness and social exclusion. The Foundation is calling for urgent intervention and support for those affected.
