Bronze Age sailors linked Iberia and Scandinavia 3,000 years ago

Researchers studying rock carvings depicting boats have concluded that communities from the Iberian Peninsula and southern Scandinavia maintained close contact as far back as 3,000 years ago. The findings suggest Bronze Age sailors regularly crossed the Atlantic, challenging current views on how isolated these cultures were. The discovery could prompt a significant revision of European prehistoric history.
