NASK adopts AI for cyber defence while Polish hospitals and municipalities go unprotected

Poland is being hit by a rising wave of ransomware and DDoS attacks, yet local hospitals and municipal utilities are turning down cybersecurity grants because they lack the staff and funds to address identified vulnerabilities. At the same time, NASK is deploying advanced AI-based cyber defence tools. The gap between elite central-level protection and defenceless local institutions is widening.
