Kacprzyk's power play: doctors abandoned Bródno ER shift

On 2 February 2026, the emergency department at Bródno Mazovian Hospital in Warsaw was left short-staffed after three doctors failed to show up for their shifts. According to Rzeczpospolita, Dawid Kacprzyk ran an informal "work cooperative" and offered to bring in a replacement team. Kacprzyk had reportedly sought to become the dominant figure controlling staffing at the ER.
