Security guard pulled alive from Venezuela earthquake rubble after over a week

More than a week after a double earthquake struck Venezuela, rescue workers pulled a security guard out of the rubble alive on Thursday. The man had been kept alive for days by rescuers feeding him through a syringe — the only way to reach him through the debris. Teams had refused to give up the search despite the passage of time.
