Australian MP Moira Deeming Sues Liberal Party President Before Vote on Her Future

Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming has filed an 11th-hour court action against party state president Brian Loughnane, listed before the Victorian Supreme Court on Friday, ahead of a party meeting to decide her fate. Deeming has refused calls to apologise to fellow MP Matthew Guy over an assault allegation she made against him. The scandal has engulfed the Victorian Liberal Party.
