Google fined €4.1bn for using Android to block rivals

A European court upheld a €4.1 billion fine against Google for using Android to block rival companies from competing in the mobile market. A Google spokesperson said the ruling "fails to recognise" the company's "significant investment to ensure Android remains open." The penalty is one of the largest antitrust fines ever imposed on a tech company in the EU.
