NIL president: 84% of doctors support working-hours cap amid huge pay gap

Dr Łukasz Jankowski, president of the Supreme Medical Council (NIL), said 84% of Polish doctors support capping working hours. He highlighted stark pay inequalities within the same hospitals, where some staff earn minimum wage while others take home 300,000 złoty a month. He cited the now-infamous example of a doctor arriving to work in a Porsche Panamera as a symbol of the injustice.
