Google ordered to pay €4.1 billion for Android antitrust violations

Europe's top court has upheld a €4.1 billion ($4.7 billion) fine against Google for anticompetitive practices tied to its Android operating system. Google had appealed the European Commission's original ruling for years, but the Court of Justice of the EU has now ordered the company to pay up. It is one of the largest antitrust penalties in EU history.
