FIFA grants special permission for Lewandowski to play for Chicago Fire during World Cup

Robert Lewandowski has received special FIFA permission to make his debut for Chicago Fire while the World Cup is still ongoing, something not normally allowed under football regulations. Chicago Fire coach Gregg Berhalter revealed this during an appearance on "Kanał Sportowy", also sharing details of negotiations with the Polish captain and calling him "the best striker of the last 15 years". Lewandowski's move to the MLS club was announced earlier this month.
