Polish NFZ to spend PLN 9.25bn on July pay rises for medical staff

Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda has approved a new tariff for health services to fund July pay rises for medical personnel. The National Health Fund (NFZ) will allocate an extra PLN 9.25 billion over the coming year for this purpose. The move follows a statutory increase in minimum wages in the healthcare sector.
