From 1 July 2026, Polish crypto firms must hold a MiCA licence to operate

Poland's transitional period for crypto firms operating under the old VASP registry registration ends on 1 July 2026. From that date, any entity wishing to continue operating in the crypto-assets sector must hold a licence compliant with the EU's MiCA regulation. MiCA has been in force for some time, but Polish firms were permitted to keep operating under the old rules until this deadline.
