Poland's GDDKiA launches multi-year repair of "Danube Waves" section on A1 motorway

Poland's GDDKiA has commissioned repairs to a 3-kilometre stretch of the A1 motorway near Dobieszowice in Silesia, one of the most damaged sections of the notoriously uneven Pyrzowice–Piekary Śląskie segment, nicknamed "Danube Waves." A tender for repairs to a further section has also been announced as part of a multi-year remediation programme.
