Trump says US pays most in NATO and gets nothing in return

Donald Trump criticised what he described as an unfair distribution of NATO costs, claiming the United States spends far more on alliance defence than any other member and receives nothing in return. He published estimated spending figures for selected member states and once again accused partners of insufficient financial commitment. Trump called the situation "absurd."
