European Commission delays ETS reform presentation to 17 July

The European Commission has moved the presentation of its EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) reform from 15 to 17 July 2026. On the same date, the Commission will also unveil an energy transition plan aimed at accelerating Europe's shift to zero-emission electricity generation. Both documents are central to the EU's climate policy agenda.
