Witch Hunter Robin: the underrated anime fantasy classic from 24 years ago
Witch Hunter Robin is a 2002 Sunrise anime series that treated magic with realism and restraint more than two decades before Frieren: Beyond Journey's End or Witch Hat Atelier did the same. Rather than spectacular battle sequences, it explored what daily life in a world of magic might actually look like. Despite its 24-year history, it remains one of the most overlooked series in the anime fantasy genre.
