Polish health sector pay rises cost 9 billion zloty – NFZ funding uncertain

Poland's Ministry of Health has decided to raise salaries in the healthcare sector, at a cost of over 9 billion zloty over 12 months. This year's increases will apply only to employees on standard employment contracts. It remains unclear whether the National Health Fund (NFZ) will receive extra funding to cover the pay rises.
