Obsidian reportedly negotiating with Microsoft to avoid closure
According to The Game Business, Obsidian Entertainment is reportedly negotiating with Microsoft to avoid being shut down as part of Xbox's sweeping business reset. Obsidian joins a list of studios facing closure that includes Arkane, Double Fine, Compulsion Games, Ninja Theory and Undead Labs. Microsoft has been reassessing its entire game publishing operation, targeting at least five studios for closure.
