EU Entry/Exit System Causes Massive Airport Queues Across Europe
The introduction of the EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) has coincided with the start of the summer holiday season, causing enormous queues at airports across Europe. Ryanair, which had previously warned about exactly this outcome, has renewed its appeal to national governments to suspend the system at least until the peak tourist season ends. The airline warns that without intervention, summer holidays could turn into a nightmare for travellers.
