Ford Q2 sales fall 10.3% as F-Series output drops and EV demand slumps 40.7%

Ford reported a 10.3% drop in total sales in the second quarter compared with a year earlier, hurt by production issues affecting its F-Series trucks including the F-150, which saw an 11% sales decline. The company's electric vehicle sales fell sharply by 40.7% year-on-year. The results stand in contrast to Tesla's European rebound over the same period.
