Venezuela quake death toll hits 2,295; man trapped in rubble for 8 days
One week after a devastating earthquake, Venezuela's death toll has risen to at least 2,295, with more than 11,000 injured. Rescue teams from seven countries worked non-stop for 72 hours trying to free 43-year-old Hernán Gil, a security guard trapped in the rubble of a collapsed building in the coastal city of Catia La Mar for eight days. The United Nations said it is procuring 10,000 body bags for the country.
