Gawkowski: Poland's digital tax will proceed despite Trump's 100% tariff threat

Donald Trump threatened 100% tariffs on goods from countries that introduce a digital services tax targeting US firms. Poland is currently preparing exactly such legislation. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski told the newspaper "Fakt" that Trump's threat will not stop work on the bill, and suggested Trump may be acting as a lobbyist for US tech companies.
