80-Year-Old Man Arrested for Hammer Attack on Wife in Nysa County

An 80-year-old man from Nysa County in southern Poland has been remanded in custody on suspicion of attempted murder of his wife. Investigators say he struck his 74-year-old wife repeatedly on the head with a hammer. The woman was hospitalised; her condition was not disclosed.
