Forest fires in southern France force evacuation of about 2,000 people near Cannes

Southern France is battling serious forest fires triggered by a recent extreme heatwave. Strong winds are causing the fires to spread rapidly across new areas. Around 2,000 people have been evacuated near Cannes as a result of the blazes.
