Lost ring of King Sigismund I the Old returns to Kraków after decades
The ring of Polish King Sigismund I the Old, long presumed lost, has been returned to Kraków. The breakthrough came thanks to researcher Dr Ewa Letkiewicz, who identified the artefact in the German Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim, where it had been stored anonymously for decades. The return of the royal jewel marks a significant moment for Poland's cultural heritage.
