Czech Republic plans small nuclear reactors near Polish border
The Czech town of Dziećmorowice, located directly on the Polish border along the Olza river, is planned as the site for small modular nuclear reactors. The former coal-fired power plant would be converted into a nuclear facility. Polish residents and local authorities on the other side of the border expressed surprise and concern about the proposal.
