ZUS: From 1 July 2026, Electronic Benefit Applications Equal to Paper Ones

From 1 July 2026, Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) officially treats electronically submitted benefit applications as equivalent to paper ones. The change is designed to simplify and speed up the process for claimants, removing the need to visit a branch or send documents by post. It forms part of a broader digitalisation of Polish public services.
