Ivory Coast floods kill 59 people since May as West Africa hit by torrential rains

Floods in Côte d'Ivoire have killed 59 people since the start of the rainy season in May, communications minister Amadou Coulibaly told a cabinet meeting in Abidjan. The death toll may rise as rescue teams continue searching. Ghana has reported 13 deaths, with flooding also hitting Benin, Togo and Nigeria.
