Animal Well creator: Sony's end of physical games "kills my desire to develop for PS5"

Billy Basso, creator of the acclaimed indie game Animal Well, says Sony's decision to end physical game releases in 2028 has hit him particularly hard. He described releasing a physical version of his game as a "huge motivator" and said the move "kills my desire to develop for the PS5". Basso added that he hopes Sony reverses the decision.
