Berlin airport boss warns EU Entry-Exit System queues will be unbearable this summer

The head of Berlin's airport has warned that the EU's new Entry-Exit System (EES) will create unbearable queues for holidaymakers this summer. The system requires fingerprint scans and facial photos of all non-EU nationals at every border crossing. Airport and travel industry leaders fear the additional processing time will cause serious disruption during peak holiday season.
