SBI Crypto shuts Bitcoin mining pool on July 31 after five-year run

Japanese company SBI Crypto will shut down its Bitcoin mining pool on July 31, 2026, after more than five years of operation. The pool ranked 12th globally and accounted for approximately 2.2% of the total Bitcoin network hashrate. The company did not provide detailed reasons for closing the operation.
