KNDS postpones stock listing due to defence market volatility

French-German tank maker KNDS has postponed its planned stock-market listing in Paris and Frankfurt, blaming volatility in the European defence sector. The company — maker of Germany's Leopard tank and France's Caesar howitzer — said it has substantially completed all IPO preparations and will resume the process when market conditions improve. The delay comes just one week after KNDS announced it was proceeding with the listing, and follows a tumble in shares of peers Rheinmetall and Czechoslovak Group.
