New Polish health ministry tool shields doctors from drug reimbursement penalties

From 1 July 2025, Polish doctors can use a new tool designed to help determine the correct reimbursement level for prescribed medications. The Health Ministry stresses the system supplements rather than replaces a doctor's clinical judgment, but is meant to reduce errors and penalties from the National Health Fund (NFZ). Around 95,000 patients have already benefited from the solution.
