EU court upholds €4 billion fine against Google over Android antitrust abuse
The Court of Justice of the European Union has upheld a fine of over €4 billion imposed on Google by the European Commission in 2018. The Commission had found that Google used the Android operating system to illegally block competition in the smartphone market. It remains one of the largest antitrust fines in EU history.
