Protected snake grilled at Kraków park — barbecue zone closed in response

Kraków's Municipal Green Space Authority has closed the barbecue area at Zakrzówek park after participants at an outdoor event grilled a smooth snake — a species protected under Polish law — on an open fire. The incident was reported by RMF FM and was cited as one of the key reasons for the closure. The smooth snake is a legally protected reptile in Poland.
