Police shot an American Staffordshire Terrier during an intervention in Zgierz

During a night-time police operation in Zgierz, officers fired a shot at an American Staffordshire Terrier that allegedly attacked them after breaking free from its leash. The dog was wounded. The use of force is now under review by the internal affairs unit of the Łódź Regional Police headquarters.
