Metaplanet buys 2,823 BTC in Q2, total holdings pass 43,000

Japanese company Metaplanet purchased 2,823 Bitcoin during the second quarter of 2026, bringing its average acquisition cost down to $106,500 per BTC. Its total holdings now exceed 43,000 BTC. The firm also reported $10.9 million in revenue generated through its Bitcoin income strategy.
