Andrzej Bargiel makes history with first ski descent of Nanga Parbat without oxygen

Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel achieved a historic first on Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), becoming the first person ever to summit the peak and ski descent it without supplemental oxygen, from the top all the way to the end of viable snow conditions. The feat is being hailed as one of the most significant achievements in the history of high-altitude ski mountaineering worldwide.
