Amazon reaches 396 satellites — enough to launch Starlink rival service

Amazon announced it now has 396 satellites in low-Earth orbit under its Amazon Leo project following the latest launch. Vice President Chris Weber said this is enough to support continuous internet service across initial latitudes. The company is now poised to directly challenge Elon Musk's Starlink.
