Storms batter southern Poland — over 400 call-outs in Świętokrzyskie region

Violent storms struck southern Poland, toppling trees onto cars and flooding homes. Firefighters in the Świętokrzyskie region responded to over 400 call-outs. Residents of Starachowice face intermittent water supply cuts for several days, and in many areas large hailstones quickly blanketed the ground.
